February 2018 vs. February 2017 Data represents traditional sales of single-family new construction homes in the Lake Norman area. The number of closed sales was up 80%. The months supply of houses fell to about 6%- which considered fairly healthy. If the trend continues to lower in March then the low inventory favors the sellers- in this instance the builders.
Nationally, sales and inventory were down year-over-year.
