Demand for new homes continues to be strong in the Lake Norman area. It seems like there is red dirt everywhere! Today, I’m profiling 3 projects that are underway in Sherrills Ford, NC. Let’s dig a little deeper.
Blackstone Bay Townhomes by DR Horton is projected to be open for sales in the spring of 2022. Located off Slanting Bridge Road, 220 units are planned, and they’ll feature 4 bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 baths, with 2-car garages. There will be an option to have the primary bedroom down on the main level. Pricing has not been released. This community is located less than 1 mile from the newer Publix shopping plaza and the expanding commercial businesses going up on Highway 150 in Sherrills Ford.
The Townes at Sherrills Ford by Stanley Martin Homes is also located less than a mile from the Publix shopping plaza. Over 110 of the planned 153 units have been sold as of November 1st. This community features 2 models, each with 3 bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 baths and a 1-car garage. The primary bedroom is located upstairs. You’ll also find a pool and cabana at The Townes at Sherrills Ford. Prices range in the mid and high 200 thousands.
Sherrill’s Stream, by DR Horton, is located off Sherrills Ford Road. Despite what the signs say, they are expected to begin building in early 2022. There will be 6 models to choose from, including a ranch plan and 2-story homes. DR Horton tells me that there is no site plan or base pricing to share.
